Kenyan professional golfer Jastas “Pastor” Madoya won the Safari Tour leg at Muthaiga on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Madoya returned a total of 7-under 277 gross in four rounds (68, 73, 69 and 67).

He was rewarded with the lion’ share of the total prize money, earning K.Shs 150,000 (at least Ug.Shs 3,550,000) for his hard toiled sweat.

Overall, the winner was a shot better than Mutahi Kibugu (278).

Erick Ooko (280) finished third whilst Namibian Paulino Kasoma and Kibugo Njoroge tied in fourth place with 284 gross apiece.

Greg Snow was 6^th (285) and Uganda’s Ronald Rugumayo followed suit in 7^th (286 gross).

Dismas Indiza and Samuel Njoroge tied in 8^th place with two other golfers; Riz Charania and Nelson Mudanyi also tieing in 10^th with 287 gross apiece.

Overall, Indiza maintains the lead, with Njoroge (Samuel) in second place. Snow is third.

The outstanding golfers on the final leaderboard after all the legs will qualify for the prestigious Magical Kenya Open.
