KCCA ED Haj. Buzeki salutes Sudhir Ruparelia for the support for Kampala City Festival 2025.
On Friday the 27th March 2026, The Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Hajat Sharifah Buzeki held a sumptuous dinner in appreciation of the sponsors of the 2025 Kampala City Festival while rallying them for support this years similar but bigger event that will be back on the street of Kampala with pomp.
During the highly attended ceremony of dignitaries, partners, services providers, media among others, Buzeki announced that this years event will be help on 4th of October 2026 .
The ED KCCA officially recognized Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia’s exceptional contribution and unwavering support towards the success of the Kampala City Carnival 2025, highlighting the growing importance of public-private partnerships in driving urban cultural initiatives.
She commended Sudhir for his continued investment in Kampala’s social and entertainment landscape, noting that his support played a pivotal role in enhancing the scale, organization, and overall experience of the carnival.
While delivering her appreciation message to sponsors at City Hall Gardens, Hajat Buzeki informed sponsors that it is not a mere celebration of the festival but a recognition of the invaluable role sponsors such as Ruparelia group played in making the 2025 Kampala City Festival a success.

Hajat Sharifah Buzeki noted that the collective efforts demonstrated the power of partnership, shared responsibilities, the need and quench of the people have for the wellbeing of the people of Kampala.

As we celebrate today, let me remind you that the work of building greater Kampala never stops, you remove vendors today, another day you expose potholes, sewerage which is leaking ,places which are not green and alot has to be done to ensure we deliver a City which people will be proud of, ” Hajat Buzeki stated.
