2024 UMEA Muslim Solidarity Games (Women Football):
- Kawempe Muslim A 24-0 Kabukunge Muslim
- Kakungulu High 1-4 Kawempe Muslim A
- Masaka SS 1-0 Kawempe Muslim B
- Kakungulu High 15-0 Kinaawa Kawempe
- Kawempe Muslim B 7-0 Kigumba SS
Over the years, Kawempe Muslim Secondary School has been a dominate force for women football in Uganda.
For the UMEA Muslim Solidarity Games, Kawempe Muslim S.S has won on countless occassions.
The case is not different for the 2024 edition as they find the back of the net for fun in varying fashion for the two teams; A and B.
Against Kabukunge Muslim from Kalungu district, Kawempe Muslim A won in far-convincing fashion 24-0.
Agnes Nabukenya led the massacre with 14 goals to her name as Shadia Nabirye had four goals, among other scorers.
Kawempe Muslim A also won 4-1 over Kakungulu High. Their B side condemned Kigumba SS 7-0 and lost 0-1 to hosts Masaka SS.
Elsewhere, Kakungulu High hammered Kinaawa Kawempe 15-0.
Besides women football, there is also action in men’s football, handball (boys and girls), netball, volleyball (boys and girls), badminton and table tennis.
These games will continue on Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday and climax on Easter Monday.
The UMEA Muslim Solidarity Games bring together the schools that were founded on the Islamic faith.
