“I thought our marriage was strong, but now I feel completely lost,” wrote a heartbroken wife using the name Hann on a popular relationship forum. She continued:

“We have been together for two years and have twin boys aged four. My husband is 26, I am 23, and this past year has been incredibly tough. That afternoon, I had been out fundraising for our local children’s hospice because my niece — my sister’s daughter — passed away from cancer late last year.

She was only nine, and my sister, who is 30, is still struggling to cope. Her husband has largely disappeared since then. My husband and I have been her main support, and I was proud of him as it hasn’t been easy managing our two demanding boys as well.

That day, I realized I had forgotten my mobile phone, so I quickly went home to pick it up — and that’s when I saw them, naked and in the act. I even heard my sister say, “Leta kabisa ukisonga ndio tumalize haraka tunaweza patwa na wife.”

I ran out, collected the boys from a friend’s house where they were playing with her son, and drove straight to my mother’s home. My husband followed, but I refused to speak to him.
