My name is Joy from Kampala. I want to share what happened to me in June 2017, an ordeal that almost pushed me to end my life. I also hope that Mpango Wa Kando can learn something from what I went through.
I got married in 2007 in a church wedding. My husband works as an accountant in a government institution, while I am a teacher in Mbarara. After our wedding, we settled in Kampala.
At that time, I was not yet employed, but my husband already had a job in the Kampala CBD. Between 2007 and 2014, we were blessed with three children—two boys and one girl.
