“How I Got My Stolen Handbag Back in Kampala” – Sarah Shares Her Experience

My name is Sarah, and I live in Kampala, Uganda. Life in the city is often fast-paced and busy, and like many people, I have faced my share of challenges. One of the most distressing moments I ever experienced was when my handbag was stolen. Inside it were all my most important belongings—my phone, ATM cards, house keys, and some cash I had just withdrawn from the bank. Anyone who has been robbed knows the stress and pain it brings. I felt completely helpless and shattered.
I still remember that day clearly. I was walking home from work in Wandegeya, carrying my handbag as usual. Suddenly, two men on a motorcycle appeared out of nowhere, snatched my bag, and sped away before I could even call for help. I was left standing there, stunned, trembling, and disoriented. Strangers gathered around, some trying to comfort me, others blaming me for being careless. But deep down, I knew it wasn’t just the bag I had lost; my sense of security had been taken too.TO READ MORE, TAP HERE
