“How I Built My Church From Just 2 Worshippers to 5,000” Ugandan Pastor Testifies

Many pastors and church leaders face major challenges at the beginning—few members, scarce resources, and constant discouragement. This was exactly the case for Pastor Daniel from Mukono, Uganda. His story is one of faith, perseverance, and how seeking the right support transformed his ministry from only two worshippers into a congregation of over five thousand devoted believers.

Daniel had always felt the call to serve God from a young age. After years of prayer and training, he finally decided to start his own church. With a rented hall and borrowed chairs, he opened the doors of his ministry with high hopes. But to his surprise, only two people attended the first Sunday service. He encouraged himself, believing the numbers would grow with time. Yet weeks turned into months, and attendance remained very low.
