Health: Greenhill academy located in Namuwongo Makindye division is set to host a free medical camp on the 15th April 2026 organised by the Rotary club of Kiwafu Breeze Muyenga  targeting school children and surrounding communities.

The remarks were made last week by officials of the club during the maiden women's day celebrations event  for the club held at the Afro Park Hotel Muyenga organised by their newly launched buddy's group as part of their listed activities

The buddy group boss Solomon Adibola told the members during their weekly fellowshiping that they recognise and appreciate their women' membership outstanding contribution to the club projects activities.

'We took a decision as  the club buddy group to appreciate and thank our women colleagues for the great work and contribution  made towards by our club thus hosting this maiden celebration activity' noted Solomon.

Rotarian  Dennis Paulo Kavuma thrilled the members when he recited a poem applauding the women Rotarians for their dedicated efforts to serve humanity through participation in planned activities.

We thank our outstanding women including Diana Sentongo Yudaya Musis,Tracy Nagawa,Joy Maraka Kathryn, Victoria Guttabingi, Catherine Aduba and Cynthia Baitwa among others for dedication to serving humanity.

Turning to the upcoming medical camp, Nagawa Tracy the executive director Sickle

cell rescue foundation Ltd  [SRF] confirmed.the Greenhill academy event saying they target all educational institutions around the area as well as both the residents and  industrial workers respectively.

Flanked by her public relations  and community engagement officer Musiimenta Euniky said the activities shall include testing for sickle cell, malaria, nutrition information,mental health screening among other medical related challenges.

They thanked DFCU Bank and other development partners for supporting these initiatives which shall spread to cover both Kampala international University and Clarke University respectively in April before closure of the Rotary activity calendar year in May.
