From a Humble Village Life to Earning Millions
Like many other young men after finishing school, when I completed my Form Four studies in Western Kenya, I quickly moved to Nairobi in search of a job. This was because my parents, who live in the village, could not afford to pay for my college education due to poverty.
I ended up living with my uncle in Nairobi for five years, but without much success. I survived on casual jobs around Kawangware and Kangemi slums. Life was extremely difficult, yet I could not go back to the village since things there were even tougher. My parents and my siblings – four sisters and one brother – were all in school and looked up to me for support.
