Church of Uganda’s Bbira Vocational Training College holds 7th Graduation ceremony as new Administration block breaks ground.

While celebrating 30 years in existence, Bbira Vocational Training College on the projects of the Church Of Uganda held their 7th Graduation ceremony on 27th June 2023.
The ceremony held at the college’s playground was presided over by the Archbishop Church of Uganda Stephen Kaziimba. The Guest of honor was DR. JAMES MUSINGUZI GARUGA.
On the same occasion, there was a groundbreaking ceremony for the new administration block named “Kaziimba Block” led by Dr. James Garuga who contributed UGX 20 Million and offered scholarship opportunities to students from Kaamoja Diocese for the next 5 years.
“We celebrate and give thanks to God for our Children and the progress of Church o Uganda’s Bbira Vocational Training College on their 7th Graduation Ceremony. I thank my friend Dr. James Musinguzi Garuga for accepting to be our Chief Guest at this graduation ceremony”
He applauded Brot Für Die Welt’s generous support to the college in skilling youth of Uganda and create employment opportunities for them.
“I call upon Ugandans to emulate Brot Für Die Welt to support our young people gain meaningful skills at this College. I call upon other CoU Dioceses to also sponsor their children in vocational studies to improve their standards of living and reduce unemployment among the youths. Initiate projects and companies and become job creators. Explore more opportunities in line of training and gain more expertise. Do not sit back. Trust God to give you more wisdom and understanding on how to use your skills to serve Him and others” he said
To the graduates ppictured above, he urged them to continue to be creative with Jesus at heart while accomplishing their tasks.
“We ushered out many young trained people. I would like to remind our children, that this is the beginning of a new life. I charge all of you to have Christ at the center of your life, by His Spirit, you will manage the world. Continue to be creative and flexible.”
Bbira Vocational Training College is under Church of Uganda in the Directorate of Household and Community Transformation.
According to the management of the college, The Admissions For July -August Intake Are Going On For Courses Of National Diploma In National Diploma In Civil Engineering, National Diploma In Architecture, National Diploma In Water Engineering, National Diploma Mechanical Engineering, National Diploma In Automotive Mechanics, National Diploma In Hotel And Institutional Catering, National Diploma In Electrical Engineering, National Diploma In Fashion Design among others.
