My name is Michael, and I am from Jinja, in the Busoga region of Uganda. Several years ago, I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering, full of hope and excitement for a successful career.
I had pictured myself working on major construction projects, earning a decent income, and providing well for my family. But life did not turn out as I had envisioned. Despite my qualifications, finding a steady job in my field was extremely challenging.
