“We know that there are several students who are struggling tosecure tuition, to ably join this University. That’s why we are giving 60% reduction on our tuition to Ugandan students,” Rajiv said.

“The sister companies, and hundreds of other partner companies and organisations, are a perfect ground for the training, internships and possible job placements for all our students we release to the job market every year,” he said.
He added: “Based on this fact, the University is intentional, in ensuring that students not only go for good and credible internships, but also get retained by the leading employers in the country. Alternatively, by the time they leave us, they are well skilled, to start their own businesses.”
He said at Victoria University, they cultivate ideas, celebrate diversity, foster entrepreneurship, seek excellence, and also impact communities.
“The basic idea is that students are more likely to be interested in what they are learning, more motivated to learn new concepts and skills, and better prepared to succeed in their careers if what they are learning mirrors real-life contexts, equips them with practical and useful skills, and addresses topics that are relevant and applicable to their lives outside of the University,” he said.
