URA tax Mbarara City at Kakyeka
URA FC cruised to a 2-0 win over Mbarara City FC on Friday at Kakyeka Stadium. Goals from Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Bruno Bunyaga guided the Tax Collectors to victory.
Coach Alex Isabirye made two changes from the team that defeated Mbale Heroes FC with Bright Vuni starting ahead of Enock Walusimbi who had a knock.
The other change saw home boy Dennis Otim starting in goal and was also captain on the day ahead Derrick Ochan.
Ahimbisibwe who is also a local lad and played for Nyamityobora FC fired URA FC in the lead at the 17th minute mark.
The Hunter as he is christened was well placed to head home from Moses Aliro’s cross.
He was withdrawn in the 74th minutw with Bunyaga replacing him and the change paid off with the latter doubling the lead, five minutes later.
The win lifted URA FC up to fourth place on 36 points while Mbarara City FC remained 12th on 23 points.
