KCCA Coach Abdallah Mubiru says the camp is now calm ahead of their league clash with Mbarara City following a disappointing exit from the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

KCCA host the Ankole Lions aware that victory will see them close the gap between them and table leaders Kitara to just six points with as many league games remaining.

“We have managed to calm the camp down and morale has been lifted,” said Mubiru. “The focus now is on the next game and we want to improve on the performance and play better than how we did in the last game,” he added.

“There is still a lot we are competing for and we shall take it game by game.”

Mustafa Kizza is out injured after getting a knock in training and joins Filbert Obenchan (suspended) but Ashraf Mugume returns after missing the cup game at BUL.

Mbarara City who lie 10th on the log with 28 points won the reverse fixture 2-1 at Kakyeeka.

However, they are winless against KCCA at Lugogo in the previous five visits losing the last three on the bounce.
