TCNOGA holds animated mass for UACE stars

The Trinity college Nabbingo old girls Association [TCNOGA] has held its animated mass celebrating the victory of their UACE stars who are set to join the University community.

The day long colorful ceremony 15th March 2026 begun with animated mass in the morning with main celebrant being Fr.Achilles Mayanja representing the archbishop of Kampala Dr Paul Semogerere. 

He commended the leadership of the college for collectively striving to ensure that the girls put up a good performance both at UCE and UACE respectively.

He challenged the girls to remain disciplined and God fearing as they venture to join University education environment cautioning them to take care of the numerous societal temptations that may morally and spiritually corrupt them.

The college headmistress Immaculate Nasozi Lwanga congratulated all the stakeholders that contributed to the successful academic performance of thier girls across board saying the integrity of the college stands strong and firm.

The chief guest was Amb. Rosette Nyirinkindi who applauded the good performance exhibited by the girls saying she was proud as an old girl to celebrate the academic achievements and the country at large

The president of TCNOGA Solome Marie Nassiwa Lubowa who was represented by Jesca Zziwa congratulated the girls for making them proud saying they are confident that their new journey to the university level would be of prosperity.

Zziwa handed over a. Cash donation of UGX 5m towards the purchase of musical instruments for the college chaple which once completed would move to have a sitting capacity of 1500 girls down from the current 350.

The college chairperson board of governors Rev Fr Dr John Mary Sebunya in his homely message appealed to the old girls and all well-wishers of the college development agenda to make generous contributions towards the proposed Trinity junior school construction project worth UGX14bn.

He noted that it was a timely and noble gesture for all friends and well-wishers of the college to stand with them in raising these funds such that the daughters of the

 college alumnus begin their education journey from the new junior school and later feed into the Trinity college fraternity for purposes of continuity.

Results  

The best sciences stars that scored 20 points include

Amanya Christine BCM/IT,,Karungi Alison Mellisa BCM/IT, Abeja Petra Omony BCM/IT,Nandawula Annet Musasizi BCM/IT Nanyondo Julian and Nakatte Josephine Jennah BCM/ICT among others.

The best done subjects were Biology chemistry and mathematics respectively.

For the arts scoring 18 points include

Amuge Martha Byenek HENTG/ICT ,Mundua Pheobe Ssanyu HENTLIL/ IT,.

Those who scored 17 points are Nagganda Josephine HENTLIT/IT, Nakamoga Priscia Estella LEENT/SM, Atuha Starcia

Muhumuza HENTLIT/ICT and Nanyange Tracy Ssemyalo HENTD/ICT respectively.

The best done arts subjects include Literature, Germany and fine art respectively
