PLU Designates Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia a Patriotic Officer Number

KAMPALA, UGANDA — The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has officially announced the designation of prominent city tycoon and philanthropist, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, as a Patriotic Officer, assigning him the unique identifier PO/198.

The appointment was confirmed in an official notice issued by the PLU General Secretary, Hon. Twalla Fadil, acting on the directive of the PLU National Chairman, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Dr. Sudhir’s inclusion is part of a newly released cohort of 118 prominent Ugandan citizens recognized by the political pressure group for supporting its national cause.

 The fresh list of designees spans from registration numbers PO/183 to PO/300.

In his message to the newly designated officers, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba extended his congratulations and urged them to serve the organization and the nation with “diligence, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to PLU and our Motherland.”

As one of East Africa’s most successful businessmen, Dr. Sudhir’s alignment with the PLU marks a significant milestone in the group’s ongoing strategy to build a robust, broad-based coalition.

The pressure group continues to actively recruit influential figures across Uganda’s political, business, religious, and civic sectors to drive its patriotic agenda forward.
