NWSC announces Planned Water Supply Interruption In Kampala City for One day

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC)- Kampala Water regrets to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply today 20th May , 2026 from 7:00am to 8:00am on Thursday 21st, May 2026 (24hrs) 

According to the notice released in Wednesday 20th May , 2026, the interruptionis due to to the works upgrade and routine maintenance.

“This is to allow for system upgrade works and routine maintenance of the Katosi water treatment plant” partly reads the statement.

Aming he affected areas include: Katosi, Kisoga, Mukono, Seeta,Mbalala, Namugongo, Namanve, Sonde, parts of Kireka, Kamuli, Kyaliwajala, Bulindo, Nsasa, Mulawa, Mbalala, Naalya, Ntinda, Kisaasi, Najeera, Luteete, Gayaza, parts of Kamwokya, parts of Kireka, parts of Mbuya and the surrounding areas

NWSC has advised customers to “store enough water and use it sparingly as we work”
