Singer Nina Kankunda Rose, popularly known as Nina Roz, has stepped forward to support TNS’ 6 Killaz amidst the controversy surrounding their latest song, “Kukyakala na Kubwa.”

In a recent statement, Nina Roz praised the track, labeling it exceptionally good and unique.

The emergence of “Kukyakala na Kubwa” stirred discussions among music enthusiasts shortly after its release. Nina Roz attributed the reactions surrounding the song to its distinctiveness, emphasizing that not every composition garners much attention.

Comprising six female musicians under the management of Team No Sleep’s Jeff Kiwa, the 6 Killaz have been making waves recently in the music scene.

However, not everyone shares Nina Roz’s enthusiasm for their collaborative effort.

Prima Kadarshi, known as Geosteady’s former spouse and mother of his children, expressed disbelief at the collective’s decision to invest their time in what she deemed as subpar music. Kadarshi’s critique extended to those who financially supported the song’s production, questioning their judgment.

In response to the criticism, Nina Roz reiterated her pride in “Kukyakala na Kubwa,” asserting that the attention it received motivated her and her peers to continue pushing creative boundaries. She expressed her willingness to collaborate with fellow artists again, reaffirming her belief in the song’s merit.

We take pride in our song because it’s a good one. I don’t care about what other people say. This is because talking about it shows people recognize our works as female artistes. Nina Roz
