Nabweru Division Emyooga SACCO leaders pledge loyalty for team Museveni

The Nabweru division Emyooga Sacco members have been urged to canvas support for the NRM presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in appreciation of his efforts of granting funds for their smallholder business Networks which is a deliberate effort to curb the rising levels of household poverty.

The development came to light over the weekend during the launching ceremony of the division emyooga sacco umbrella group which took place at Emmanuel junior school Nabweru Nansana Municipality Wakiso district were the members pledged their loyalty to Museveni and appreciated the Kampala Metropolitan Emyooga saccos leaders presidential mobilization team for leading this initiative of mobilizing them to canvass votes for Museveni.

The division Emyooga saccos fraternity chairperson Niyonsenga yosiya on behalf of his members pledged his determination to mobilize their resective group members to join the vote hunt team to ensure Museveni secures a landslide victory in the 15th January 2026 elections.

The Kampala Metropolitan Emyooga Saccos leader's presidential mobilization team chairperson Richard Tumwebaze welcomed the members into the mobilization force saying their mandate is to move out and convince all their members to support the NRM presidential candidate re-election project for the continuity of effective service delivery.

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Nansana Municipality, Mr. Charles Lwanga welcomed the new emyooga members on the team saying much as Nansana Municipality was a tricky political terrain for the NRM, he was confident the Emyooga vehicle was the best to deliver victory for candidate Museveni.   

Mr. Lwanga further urged residents to support government programs and to vote for the NRM presidential candidate in the upcoming elections scheduled for January 15, 2026.

The RDC also commended members of the Nabweru Market Vendors Emyooga SACCO, led by chairperson Mr. Niyonsenga Yosiya, for emerging as one of the most competitive SACCOs in the municipality.

He applauded the group for acquiring their own piece of land and constructing SACCO offices using profits generated from the Emyooga program.
