A woman known as Mama Sharon (not her real name) is grateful to have her husband back after he married another woman and disappeared from their rental house in Nairobi for about three years. This, according to her, happened while she was pregnant with their third child.

She had no job, and her husband began treating her like a burden. Mama Sharon revealed that he had been cheating on her with multiple women, but she never imagined he would marry someone else and abandon her. She once confronted him after noticing his attention on other women, and he promised to change his ways.
