Kingdom Kampala partners with Gov’t to host the 2nd Uganda Real Estate and Housing Expo

KAMPALA, UGANDA — The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, in partnership with Douglas Events Ltd, has officially announced the upcoming 2nd Edition of the Uganda Real Estate and Housing Expo (UREHE) 2026.

The premier two-day event and housing conference will convene at Kingdom Kampala Gardens on September 25 and 26, 2026.

Convened under the core theme "Adequate Housing for All," the national event addresses critical challenges and innovations across Uganda's land, property, and construction sectors.

The gathering brings together key stakeholders, including government regulators, property developers, financial institutions, urban planners, architects, surveyors, and over 100 regional and international exhibitors from at least 10 countries (including the East African Community partner states).

The 2nd Annual Housing Conference will be held alongside World Habitat week, featuring high-level policy dialogues, technical sessions, and panel discussions on sustainable urban development featuring Investment & Deal-Making Platforms such as dedicated B2B networking spaces and exhibition booths connecting institutional investors with verified real estate suppliers, Exhibitor Showcasing innovations in green building materials, PropTech, affordable housing prototypes, and financial mortgage solutions, a Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony culminating the second day on September 26 to celebrate industry leaders and pioneers.

Major confirmed sponsors and participants include MTN Uganda, Steel and Tube Industries, Regal Paints Uganda, and 88 Residency Kenya.
