Ruparelia Group has under the leadership of Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia has unveiled the architectural designs for Phase 2 of the Kingdom Kampala development, featuring a 21-story tower and a rooftop helipad.

The high-rise, located in the Central Business District, includes glass facades, landscaped terraces and premium amenities. The rooftop helipad is a rare feature in Uganda’s private sector, designed to accommodate executive travel for the city’s growing international business community.

Kingdom Kampala has been a landmark mixed-use complex since the first phase opened in 2019. That phase currently houses a shopping mall, office spaces and parking.

The second phase is envisioned as a “vertical city.” It will include a luxury hotel with approximately 200 rooms, upscale apartments, penthouses and additional corporate offices.

Real estate observers said the project reflects confidence in the capital’s growth.

“This tower is a marker of Kampala’s ascent as a modern African metropolis,” a local real estate expert said. “Features like the helipad target high-value sectors, from energy investors to tech players.”

The development follows other recent high-rise projects by the Ruparelia Group, including the 25-story Pearl Tower One.

The project Is expected to create construction jobs and attract further foreign investment as Uganda maintains an annual economic growth rate of approximately 5% to 6%.
