ISBAT University Opens Window for 2026 Inter-Schools Coding & Quiz Competition to Showcase Tech Abilities. 

ISBAT University is the official Higher Education Partner and host for the Inter-Schools Coding Competition (ISCC), Uganda’s largest national tech competition for secondary students aimed at inspire Uganda’s next generation of tech leaders through coding bootcamps, academic mentorship, and national championship challenges.

 Organizers say that the top competitors have the chance to compete for grand prizes, including up to UGX 10 million and overall national prizes up to $15,000 while supporting participants with free on-campus coding bootcamps, career activations, and mentorship from ISBAT facilities. 

According to a statement from ISBAT University, the has been laid for this year’s competition fir all the schools across all regions of Uganda. 

“ISBAT University is delighted to extend a warm welcome to all schools that have registered and chosen to participate in the ISBAT Inter-Schools Coding & Science Quiz Competition 2026 (IISCSQC 2026). The overwhelming response from schools across the region reflects a shared commitment to nurturing innovation, scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence among young learners” partly reads the statement.

The university has assured the competitors of a collaborative environment for the participants to demonstrate their abilities pledging their continued commitment to support and developing future leaders in science and technology.

“Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in coding, science, logical reasoning, and problem-solving while interacting with peers from different schools. The competition promises to be an exciting journey filled with learning, creativity, teamwork, and healthy rivalry” it reads

The Inter-Schools Coding Competition (ISCC), is Uganda’s biggest National Coding Initiative for secondary school students, designed to enable young Ugandans obtain early exposure to advanced tech skills aligned with Uganda’s digital transformation agenda.
