Frank Gashumba reveals daughter Sheilah loaned him UGX 100 million while in school

Frank Gashumba has shared a surprising story about his daughter, Sheilah Gashumba, showcasing her financial capabilities from a young age.

While speaking on a talk show on Radio4, Frank disclosed that Sheilah lent him UGX 100 million while she was still in Senior Four.

According to him, Sheilah had already begun building a successful business by selling wigs and weaves to celebrities such as Sheebah Karungi and Barbie Kyagulanyi, while also importing sunglasses from China, all while still attending school.

I can narrate to you and you won’t believe it. When Sheilah was in Senior Four, she was selling wigs to celebrities. She used to import them from Brazil and also sunglasses from China.

One time I badly needed UGX 500 million for a deal, but I only had UGX 400 million. I called Sheilah and asked if she had some money and told her I needed UGX 100 million within the next six hours.

To his surprise, Sheilah not only had the money but was also ready to help, on one condition.

She asked me when I would return it. I told her within a week, and she agreed. She told me she was at her apartment, but we could meet at the bank. She entered and withdrew the UGX 100 million, which helped me complete the deal.
