Farmer Says His “Land Case Lasted 8 Years” as He Explains the Solution That Finally Helped Him

Joseph, a farmer from Kitale, stated that he had owned a small family inheritance plot for many years, and he explained that he had always hoped to expand his farm and improve life for his children. However, he revealed that what should have been a simple issue of ownership eventually turned into an eight-year struggle.

He said that a distant relative had claimed the land and took the matter to court, a process he described as extremely slow and frustrating. According to Joseph, each hearing was marked by delays, postponements, and endless paperwork, leaving him unable to move forward with his farming plans while stress continued to grow at home.

Joseph reported that over the years, he spent countless hours and money on legal fees. He mentioned that he hired lawyers, collected documents, and attended every court session with the hope that the case would finally be resolved fairly, but month after month, nothing seemed to change.
