Eddy Yawe expresses admiration for the conversation between Bobi Wine and Mathias Mpuuga

Singer Eddy Yawe has weighed in on Bobi Wine and Mathias Mpuuga’s reunion that was witnessed as Buganda celebrated Kabaka Ronald Mwenda Mutebe II’s 70th birthday on 13th April at Rubaga Cathedral.

Bobi Wine and Mathias Mpuuga were selected to sit next to each other during the church service, and the two held a deep conversation after a very long time following the latter’s suspension from his role as NUP’s Deputy President in Buganda.

Eddy Yawe was impressed with the two having a conversation, saying it showed the maturity of both leaders.

He further explained that, going by their facial expressions, both were blaming each other concerning what led to their separation.

Everyone was blaming the other about what befell them. I believe that talk that they had, could result into something positive. I am so happy for both of them.

Speaking in an interview after the church mass, Bobi Wine maintained that he has no bad blood with former LoP, Hon. Mpuuga, stressing that the latter only disobeyed the party’s rules, hence leading to his demotion from the office he held for close to 2 and a half years.
