Early Morning Chaos in Kiambu as Church Rejects 22-Year-Old Member for Offering Betting Winnings as Tithe

Apparently, corrupt politicians can give away millions in churches, even when the proceeds are suspicious, but when a regular person does it, they risk being disowned and disbanded. Money is just money, right? Does it smell different when it comes from betting? Is it useless? Does it lose value just because it was earned through a carefully chosen bet slip, won, and packed in a bag?

A morning incident in Kiambu left the congregation in stitches when a young man, named Joseph Muema, wanted to give the customary 10% tithe from his betting proceeds, in the millions. Joseph handed over the bag to the usher collecting envelopes and told her that he wouldn’t be staying.
