Different cultures unify students at the IUEA 2022 Cultural Gala
The International University of East Africa’s Cultural Gala is an annual event organized to promote different cultures as an essential aspect of development and fostering social development.
The IUEA 2022 Cultural gala was organized on Thursday 31st March 2022 at the IUEA campus in Kansanga with different students from different countries performing cultural dances, foods, customs, language, songs among others.
Themed “Celebrate, Embrace, and Discover Culture”, the event attracted performances from Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Sudan, Nigeria, Rwanda, Burundi among others with the best performances recognized at the climax of the event under the team leadership of Huzairu Nyanzi.
Nyanzi said “it has been a true passion of culture. Different African countries, food, live performances, dances”
IUEA as a diverse student body and a multinational environment that consists of student representations of more nationalities including African and Asian countries to as far as Holland.
The cultural gala according to information from IUEA provides a learning and knowledge exchange platform showcased in a massive display of food in above picture, fashion, music, and dance.
Meanwhile, IUEA on March 27th, 2022 held a panel discussion honoring International Women's Day and reflecting on gender equality in a society where lecturers, students, and gender equality advocates gathered at IUEA

Panelists included some of the International University of East Africa (IUEA) students, represented by the university’s Guild President, Ukemeobong James, the Guild Minister of Women Affairs, Ruth Cho, Peer Educator Ruth Namutebi Elizabeth, and Gender Quality Advocate – Najibah Sanusi.
