Arua Hill Sports Club sacks head coach, entire technical team


Management of Arua Hill Sports Club, a FUFA Big League side has officially parted ways with head coach Robert Omony alongside his entire technical team.
The development was confirmed in a statement released by the club public relations officer James Obalo.
“The management of Arua Hill Sports Club would like to inform fans, partners and the general public that the club has decided to make changes in the technical department with immediate effect. We greatly appreciate coach Robert Omony and his team for their dedication and professionalism. Wapwoyo matek.” The statement read.

A new coach will soon be confirmed and communicated to the public.
“The process of bringing in a new head coach has started” the statement added.
Arua Hill Sports Club has blown hot and cold this season with just four wins in 17 matches. They have drawn twice and lost 11 games; accumulating 14 points (bottom placed on the 15-team log).
Interestingly, during the previous match day, Arua Hill overcame visiting Kaaro Karungi 1-0 at the Pece Stadium in Gulu city.


Last week, Gaddafi, another FUFA Big League entity based in Entebbe silently replaced Allan Kabonge and some members of his technical wing with Robert “Kiyenje” Mukasa (head coach) and Ismail Kintu (assistant coach).
Swaibu Ssebaggala was maintained as goalkeeping coach.
The FUFA Big League has 15 clubs. The top three will automatically earn slots to the Star Times Uganda Premier League with the bottom four relegated to the respective regional leagues.
