The days may be getting shorter and temperatures may be dropping but it appears that Mikel Arteta's side are just starting to warm up.
A 3-1 win against Tottenham in the north London derby last weekend made it three wins in a row in the Premier League and they will be looking to make it four today against Brighton in the evening kick-off.
Three points could take the Gunners to within one of the top four but the Seagulls have had an excellent start to the season, winning four of their six games so far.
Nevertheless, Arsenal will be full of confidence as they make the trip south and it is sure to be an entertaining affair.

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has claimed that Arsenal could finish in the top four this season.
"No, Arsenal might finish in the top four yet", he replied when asked if Aston Villa could finish above the Gunners this season.
Ben White prediction dropped
Arsenal defender Ben White travels to his former club today as the Gunners take on Brighton. Seagulls CEO Paul Barber is prediciting a welcome reception from the home supporters today.
Writing in the pre-match programme, he said: "All things being equal, our former defender Ben White will likely be making his first return to the Amex after a summer spent as part of the England squad at the Euro 2020 tournament, followed by his transfer to Arsenal.
"I’m sure Albion fans will give Ben a good reception in his new colours."
Arsenal 'ahead' for Insigne
Arsenal are reportedly the front-runners for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne.
The Italian winger is available on a free transfer as early as January and Corriere dello Sport have claimed that the Gunners are 'ahead' of the opposition should he elect to leave his current employers.
Good or bad omen?
Arsenal travel to Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend to take on the Seagulls and the Premier League might have given them some good fortune with their 'Goal of the Day'.

Agent explains Torreira exit
The agent of Lucas Torreira has explained why the midfielder exited Arsenal for Fiorentina this summer despite interest from elsewhere.
Talking to CalcioNapoli24, Daniele Prade, he said: “Interest of Napoli? Yes, there were the Azzurri as well as other clubs. However, we wanted a project and we knew Daniele Pradè from the time at Sampdoria. They made Torreira feel immediately important."
Nketiah deal collapses
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah was close to joining Crystal Palace this summer but disagreements with his agent reportedly saw the deal fail.
According to ESPN, the Eagles had agreed a fee with Arsenal but the player's agent complicated negotations, meaning Nketiah remained in north London
Lokonga explains Arsenal move
Arsenal summer recruit Albert Sambi Lokonga has been explaining the reasons he joined Arsenal in the summer.
Talking to Sport, he said: “It was by discussing with the coach and the sports director (Edu, editor's note) that it gradually became obvious to me. They are the ones who really reinforced the idea of choosing this club. Afterwards, they don't have a lot of merit, it's easy to be convincing when you work for Arsenal."
He continued: "I immediately wanted to participate in the reconstruction of this club. Because for me, even in crisis, Arsenal remains Arsenal."
Albert Sambi Lokonga has impressed for Arsenal so far this season.
Klopp delivers Arsenal verdict
Jurgen Klopp has suggested that Arsenal are back to the football they want to play amid an inconsistent start to the season.
The Gunners lost their opening three games of the campaign but have roared back with three consectuive wins.
Talking to Sky Sports, Klopp said: “Arsenal, three weeks ago, everyone was wondering about them but now they're getting closer to the football they want to play."
Gabriel reveals Manchester United choice
Arsenal defender Gabriel has revealed he had the option to sign for Manchester United ahead of his switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking to talkSPORT, the Brazilian said: “It’s true that Manchester United were also interested, but I was always focused on joining Arsenal.
“The fans sent some messages in the build-up and that was very important in my decision."

Arsenal are still reportedly owed £8m for former midfielder Krystian Bielik, after his move to Derby County.

Aston Villa, Brentford and Leeds United are all reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

Emerson reveals Arsenal talks
Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal had revealed that he spoke to Arsenal technical director Edu during the summer.
“I actually had a conversation with Edu. I did talk to Edu in the same week", he told ESPN Brazil.
"And we talked, he showed me the desire of the club and such. And, of course, I needed Barcelona, I couldn’t settle anything with anyone, Barcelona had to deal club to club.
“And that’s where Barcelona went and found deal with Tottenham. I also got to talk to Tottenham, at first I didn’t have any verbal agreement with anyone. And that’s when Barcelona told me that they had made an agreement with Tottenham."
Lacazette to Milan?

According to Calcio Mercato reporter Daniele Longo, the Gunners have offered the striker to AC Milan.
The Frenchman's contract expires in the summer and Arsenal may let him leave during the upcoming January transfer window.
