Youth and women to receive self-empowerment items at the Youth Day in Luweero set for 5th October

Youth, Women, Veterans and the Elderly are among the groups selected to receive self-empowerment items for capital during the belated celebrations to mark International Youth Day in Luweero that has been slated to happen on 5th October 2023

The Chief Guest to the occasion will be The Senior Presidential Advisor Hadijah Namyalo who will preside over the event at Kasaala playground.

During the celebration, the Hadijah also donated self-empowerment items to the selected group of people in Luweero. 

Hadijah Namyalo who is also the Personal Assistant Office of the National Chairman NRM (ONC) based at Kyambogo who will spend time with the Bazzukulu on the day as the main celebrant said that the Items to be given out are aimed at Wealth & Job Creation. 

“The office of the National Chairman is determined to support mobilizers through self-empowerment programs” she said 

 Activities lined up on the day include performances, matching, food and beverages among others.

 The Theme of the celebrations will be: “Green Skills For Youth: Towards a Sustainable World”

Hakim Kyeswa Information Department ONC, dispalys some of the items to be recieved by mobilisers in Luweero 

 Recently SPA Hajjat Hadijja Namyalo has been giving out wealth-creation equipment to pressure groups from different parts of the country including Sewing Machines, Brick laying Machines, G.nute Grinding Machines, Hair dryers, Popcorn machines, Farm sprayers, Maize seeds, Pesticides, Herbicides, Fertilizers, Beans seeds, Weland ding machines among others.

“These are just the beginning of the ONC countrywide wealth creation campaign aiming to back other government wealth creation programs” she said
