Kelvin Otieno, a young Kenyan man, shared how his girlfriend left him for a wealthy man because he was broke, and now that he has worked hard and succeeded, she is trying to return to his life.

“I had been dating this girl for almost five years, but in 2017 I lost my job when our company closed its Kenyan offices. I was so broke that my girlfriend of five years left me for another rich man. I couldn’t even pay rent in the city, so I moved back to the village to figure out my next steps. Life was really tough and unforgiving,” he narrates.

“In early 2018, I came across an advertisement for an online job on a site called hotkenyan.co.ke, where people learn about online work.
