Namirembe Diocese Set to host couples Retreat

All roads shall be headed to the Namirembe cathedral next month where over 150 people from the dioceses of the Central region are set to meet for a  strategic retreat.

Sources from the office of the Bishop of Namirembe diocese have told us that come May 1st 2024, all roads shall head to Namirembe cathedral for the official opening ceremony to kick start the anticipated couple’s retreat.

‘We shall have a high profile couples retreat for the Central region to be hosted by the Namirembe diocese  come May 1st 2024 and about 150 people are expected to attend’ noted a source which did not want to be named.

The retreat is expected to draw participants from the dioceses of West Buganda, Central Buganda,Mukono, Mityana, Luwero and the Diocese of Namirembe  serving as the host diocese respectively with all Bishops expected to turn up in big numbers.

The Bishop of Namirembe diocese Bishop Moses Banja is the host of this highly billed retreat which is expected to brainstorm on several issues affecting the church and society.

 Meanwhile the Bishop of Namirembe diocese Bishop Moses Banja thanked the IGG Betie Kamya for having accepted to be chief guest at their recent Mary day celebrations as well as officiating at their funds raising event for the Mothers unions house project were they are looking for money to complete the house .

Kamya was joined by Bishop Banja in planting ain celebration of that great day.
