The Ugandan Businessman and Investor Hamis Kiggundu, a billionaire, has made a commitment to transform Uganda through investment in various business ventures ranging from real estate, agro-processing, authoring mindset change books, property development, philanthropist, and lawyer among others.

He is the Founder of Ham Group of Companies, the Author of Success and Failure Based on Reason and Reality, and Reason as the World Masterpiece books, and listed by the Forbes Africa Special Report as one of the wealthiest people in Uganda.

During an interview with Wode Maya, Africa’s most influential Youtuber, Hamis Kiggundu narrated “How Uganda's Hamis Kiggundu became a Billionaire before 40” and accumulated wealth to impact Ugandans while empowering them to generate wealth for a better future.

Wode Maya is a Ghanaian freelance Vlogger / YouTuber credited for his several thought-provoking & highly inspirational videos, capturing a number of compelling stories with a particular focus on Africans contributing to the development of Africa.

Talking about what he does differently that makes him achieve what he has achieved over the years, he told Wode in the interview that he said “it’s just reason. If you want to develop Africa, we should attack the mind of the Africans”

He said that it’s high time Africans started believing that we can make it here in Africa using the mind as the key to unlocking the potential of achieving. He added that it’s the very reason he invested in the “White House replica” project pictured below, which he said was intended to create confidence in Africans.

“All I have done and achieved is in Africa. Am a living example that you can make it in Africa. The White House Replica Project was aimed at making my fellow African start believing that we can make it here to them confidence” he said

Ham narrated that in some of the business ventures that he has invested in to realize his dreams and to empower fellow Africans.

“Am a Ugandan Businessman trading largely in reals estate, now moving into agro-processing and value addition. I have quite a number of commercial properties in Uganda, in various areas, from commercial to residential projects” he said

The Businessman elaborated that an African, to fight poverty there is need to focus on his capacity to hold and manage the money the person is possessing.

“Poverty is a state of mind, poverty exists with a person whether you have money or not. The problem is not that he doesn’t have money, but the capacity to hold and manage it” he explained.
