Fik Gaza and his team thumped me and stole my two phones and Ugx10m – Julius

Fik Gaza is being accused of battering a man identified as Julius and stealing Ugx10m and two mobile phones from him.

Julius, who appeared on Sanyuka TV, claims that Fik Gaza, together with his team, brutally attacked him in Makindye and started claiming he is a thief.

Julius claims that he was saved by boda boda riders who threw stones at Fik Gaza and his team before they retreated, but they had already snatched his bag containing Ugx10m and two mobile phones.

He hurriedly rushed to the police and reported the case.

A week later, the police carried out an operation at Fik Gaza’s home in which they had him arrested. His friend, also fellow artist Alien Skin, tried to intervene, asking Julius not to let Fik Gaza be arrested.

The singer was detained and released but failed to turn up for the periodic appearances at the police station, leading to his eventual arrest last week when the police conducted another operation and netted the ‘Banana’ singer.

After spending four days in detention, the singer was arraigned before the court on Tuesday and given a Ugx1m bail before being rearrested by other security operatives who claim he also committed aggravated robbery in the areas of Wakiso.

He currently remains detained as he awaits to be arraigned in court on the fresh charges.
