Global Swiss Payment Fintech Giant - BPC becomes first platinum Member of FITSPA Uganda.
BPC, a global leader in enabling payment solutions, fraud management, among others has strategically partnered with the Financial Technology Service Providers Association of Uganda (FITSPA) as the first platinum member to enhance Fintech solutions in Uganda that will a rat of different digital solutions to brigade traditional business with digital enabling spacs.
During the signing ceremony between BOC and FITSPA held on Wednesday 14th June 2023 at FITSPA headquarters in Kampala, the Managing Director BPC, Head of Sub Sahara Africa Mr Frank Molla said the partnership with FITSPA will go along way in enhancing the uptake of Fintech solutions through advocacy, leveraging on the local partnership while offering different digital solutions including enabling card switches, e-commerce, agent banking, fraud management among others.
“With this part partnership we believe we will win within the competitions by bridging traditional business into the digital space. As a platinum partners we will promote the use of a rat of different digital solutions like switching card management, fraud management, e-commerce, agent banking additions” he said.
On the other hand the Engagement Partner FITSPA Zianah Nyiramanza Muddu pictured above said that members of FITSPA will enjoy the enhanced Fintech services, enabling the financial and other sectors improve existing solutions in this revolving industry.
She said they will improve software connections of the difference Fintech services especially solving challenges like cyber fraud, and payment platform.
“Members benefits include Fintech management I payment systems like ATMs, POS machine, national switch management through connection partnerships with players” she said
Zianah said that FITSPA over the period of five years has registered various milestones like member growth of up to 206, improved relationship with the regulators, introduction of programs for Women and youth, trainings among others.
“We are celebrating 5 years in Uganda, we plan to expand to the regional level, we have introduced other programs like FITSPA women, and Youth and member trainings” she said
