Book Launch: Deputy Secretary to the Secretary Ocailap applauds Dr. John Ekure's “Changing Our World” masterpiece

Dr. John Ekure, the director of Kumi Orthopedic Centre launched his new book titled “Changing our World”.
This was at the ceremony that took place on 16th February 2024 at Hotel Africana in Kampala which was graced by different dignitaries from the Government, Health sector, Private sector and friends of Dr. Ekure.
The book with three main pillars of The Mindset Change, Productivity, and Human skills was applauded by the guests.
Dr. John Ekure, the author of the book said that the three main pillars in the book are so critical in changing the economic status of the people.
He noted that with the growing population of young people in Uganda, Africa and world at large, issues like mindset change shouldn’t be ignored.

Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Patrick Ocailap while commending the work of the author Dr. John Ekure said that the launch comes at a time when the government “has just com up with the Parish Development Model” which he said has the similar component of transforming the society through mind set to enhance productivity.
He said the mindset change to yield productivity should be coupled with human resource development.
“The is going to inform society of the clear vision of how one must align their goals. A guide to get to those goals. But for one to do this, the book reveals the need for self-awareness” he said
The Deputy Secretary to the Treasury in the Ministry of Finance while congratulating the author also said that the “book should be added to the Wealth of Economic Theory and economic publication for those in leadership to help our societies receive the productivity we need to transform our country”

Hon. Capt. Dr. Mike Mukula said “This book should be read by all entrepreneurs and Universities to be able to capture it for students to know how transformation can be attained
Capt. Mike Mukula who represented the speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among at the launch commended Dr. Ekure coming up with such a brilliant idea of writing this book.
” It is important that we write books, and I would like to thank Dr. Ekure John for having deepen the analysis to contextualize it and narrow it with challenges we face in society today”. Mukulu said.
Dr. John Ekure, renowned for his dedication to healing through orthopedic surgery, is embarking on a new mission: to uplift communities by addressing socio-economic challenges.
While his Kumi Orthopaedic Centre continues its vital work in treating bone complications, Dr. Ekure's latest literary endeavor, "Changing Our World," aims to combat economic hardships.
Notably, proceeds from the book launch were dedicated to the Elizabeth Opola Foundation, reflecting Dr. Ekure's commitment to empowering youth and fostering environmental conservation efforts.
