AIIJ’s Human Traffic Documentary Premiers online after IGP asks producers to seek clearance

 The physical Premiering of the Human Trafficking documentary produced by The African Institute of Investigative Journalism, (AIIJ) has been interfered by the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) of Uganda basing on its non-clearance of the ceremony.

The documentary titled “On the Go | The Dark Side of Labour Externalization” that was to be premierrd that was supposed to be held on 17th February 2023 at 2:00pm at Mestil Hotel was at the last moment cancelled and the organizers urged to seek clearance from the Uganda Peoples Force.

The documentary above that the IGP cancelled was inspired by true events occurring to  Ugandans exported abroad for various reason by a cartel of dealers especially in the Middle East where victims have decried harassment, death and various form of mistreatment with little help to those who manage to escape.
