Parents have urged the government to ensure that more resources are injected into the school music, dance and drama sector to boost talent identification efforts.

The call was made over the weekend by parents during the annual speech day festival and graduation ceremony for pupils of Best Quality primary and kindergarten school Kanyanya campus.

They observed that the government needs to invest more resources in identifying new talents among primary school’s learners as a future boost for the music industry which is vibrant.

The director of Best Quality group of schools in the country Ronald Ssemogerere, revealed to the parents how they have finalized plans of opening up a new campus at Kireka in Kira Municipality.

"We are proud to announce to our dear parents of Kira Municipality that their demand for a new campus to be based at Kireka has been fulfilled and effective 2025, the campus shall be ready to serve you’ noted Ssemogerere.

He pointed out that they are currently running seven campuses across the country with dedication to offering high quality education services to the citizens of Uganda.

He thanked the minister of education and sports Maama Janet Kataha Museveni for the creating conducive policy environment which has enabled them as private service education providers to supplement the government in offering education services to the children of Uganda and beyond.

He further said they have prepared a total of 245 P7 candidates who will be sitting for their promotional examination soon and wished the candidates the best of luck.

The Kanyanya campus head teacher Kulabako Faridah noted that a total of 55 top class pupils graduated to P1 2025 and used the occasion to thank the parents for the support.
