Honda By Markh partners with Kampala Boda riders’ associations in new “Club 110” scheme

Honda By Markh Investment Limited, the franchise holder of Honda Motorcycles in Uganda has partnered with over 10 Boda Boda associations in Kampala to provide affordable Honda motorcycle loans to riders and improve their livelihoods.

The partnership will allow riders to acquire motorcycles of Honda type and pay in installments until they complete and own them under an investment scheme named “Club 110” where members will be allowed to pay installments of 78,000/= an 80,000/= every Wednesday for 78 weeks to own a Honda Motorcycle 110 cc and Honda 125 respectively.

During the launch of the Club 110 scheme that was held on Tuesday 21st May 2024 at the Honda By Markh investment offices in Ndeeba, Kampala, Minister of State for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Kabuye Kyofatogabye urged Boda Boda riders to embrace the offer that Honda By Markh has provided to them, that he said has addressed fair payments of installments with no initial deposits that have been bothering the riders to own their motorcycles.

“Honda is solving the issue of low-income earners owning a motorcycle with fair payments. The initial deposit has been reduced to help Boda riders of low incomes” he said

The Minister urged the riders to remain trustworthy and pay in time to benefit from other opportunities that will arise while urging them to join the training program that Is supported by Honda and Prestige Training School to ensure road safety.

“I commend the partnership between Honda and Prestige Driving school to train riders. Please join the training for road safety” he said

The Managing Director, of Honda By Markh Investment, Mrs. Maria Namusoke Kamoga said that the partnership with Boda Boda Association is aimed not only at improving profits but also at uplifting the lives of the customers.

She said that the newly launched Honda Club 110 comprises over 10 associations in Kampala that will be the first beneficiaries of the new scheme to own Honda motorcycles at low deposits.

“We have partnered with Boda Boda associations. This business is not only for making money but for also improving the lives of the customers. We pledge partnership to change lives. We want those with bodas to own one and those who have to multiply them and change others” she said

She said that the scheme will support customers with a health insurance policy, training and waivers for prompt payments, which she said will save money.

The Head of Sales Mr. Albert Nuwabimanya urged Association Chairmen to promote the use of Honda Motorcycles to save money, improve livelihoods and build Uganda as a whole. He announced that every association will have a garage fully parked with spare parts for maintenance.
