Hon. Ngabirano Stephen Reaches Out to Kakindo Residents to Address Community Problems

Hon. Ngabirano Stephen, who hopes to become the next Member of Parliament for Sheema North, recently visited the people of Kakindo. His visit was aimed at listening to the community and learning about the challenges they face in their everyday lives.

The residents welcomed him warmly and came out in big numbers to share their concerns. They spoke about the lack of clean water, no electricity, bad roads, and poor access to healthcare and schools. These issues have been affecting their lives for a long time.

One major problem they raised was the need for clean and safe water. Many families still walk long distances to collect water from streams. Hon. Stephen listened carefully and promised to work hard to bring clean water closer to people’s homes so they no longer have to suffer.

Local farmers also spoke about their struggles. They said the prices they get for their coffee are very low and make it hard for them to earn a living. Hon. Stephen promised to support farmers by pushing for better markets, fair prices, and training in adding value to their produce.

Access to healthcare was another big concern. Residents shared stories about how hard it is to reach a clinic, especially during emergencies. Hon. Stephen said no one should suffer because of poor health services. He promised to fight for better health centers, more medicine, and well-trained health workers.

What made this visit different was Hon. Stephen’s humble and respectful approach. He did not come with big promises or loud speeches. Instead, he came to listen and understand. He gave people time to speak and showed that he truly cares about their lives.

Hon. Stephen believes that true leadership starts by listening to the people. He wants to be a leader who works side by side with the community, not one who makes decisions from far away. His visit showed that he is serious, committed, and already working to make a difference.

As the election day gets closer, the people of Sheema North are beginning to see a new kind of leader—one who listens, cares, and acts.
