In solidarity with his tenants in all his city arcades and malls with effects of  the bad period caused by COVID-19 lockdown, City Businessman Ham Kiggundu has forgiven his tenants for the month of July 2021 a move tenants described a big heart from their landlord.

Contained in notice addressed to his tenants of Ham Enterprises (U) Limited, Kiggundu says the reason for waving off rent arrears is because all the entire country including his tenants have been under lockdown.
“We welcome you back from the lockdown, Management has taken a decision to waive off your rent arrears for the month of July since the entire country was under lockdown,” a notice issued on Tuesday partly reads.

He however in picture above directed his tenants to pay for the month of August not later than 5th August 2021 and fully observe the Standard Operating Procedures as commanded by the Government.
“Going forward you are required to pay for the month of August not later than 5th August, 2021. However, you are equally required to fully observe SOPs as provided by the government to encounter the spread of Covid-19. For God and my Country.”
This is another time when Ham has pardoned his tenants in addition to last year when Management Ham Enterprises (U) Limited waived off rent arrears for the months of April and March 2020.
“Management has taken an additional decision to reboot its rental system by writing off all your outstanding rental arrears to zero. Giving you a chance to regain stability in your business as our long time tenants.” A notice written in April 2020 partly reads
The arcades and malla under consideration by Ham includes Ham Towers and Ham Shopping Grounds  among others.
It should be noted that Ham Shopping was among the first business centers to be opened due to the strict compliance to the Ministry of health Standard Operating Procedures.
Ham also recently carried out a massive vaccination for all his staff and tenants, with the support of the ministry of health.
