Over 436 graduates completed their studies on Saturday 16th March 2024 during the 14th Graduation ceremony in different disciplines including the School of Nursing and Midwifery, public health, business, and applied technology, Allied Health Sciences, Public Health, and Management among others

During the graduation ceremony held at the University campus in Muyenga, Kampala, The Chief Guest Hajjat Safina Kisu Musenene, The Director of BTVET at the Ministry of Education and Sports representing the minister, encouraged graduates to contribute to the advancement of society through being catalysts of transformation to enable the country to attain the vision 20240.

“You are not just individuals with degrees, you are expected to be catalysts of transformation. As we celebrate the role of higher education, let’s make education a cornerstone of progress in shaping the intellectual capital of Uganda to contribute to the advancement of society” she said

The Chief Guest assured the graduates that the government is dedicated to fostering a sustainable knowledge economy through higher education and to ensuring universities prepare students for the digital era.

The Associate Professor of Clarke International University, Dr. Rose Nanyonga said that over the last 16 years since the establishment of the university, there have been various achievements which has made the university globally recognized for excellence in health education

She also said that the university added another school of Business and applied technology with the 1st cohort graduation of masters in the 14th graduation.

The commencement speaker of the 14th graduation Dr. Sabrina Kitaka urged graduates to generate mindsets of doing something before thinking of someone else doing it.

“Graduates Don't ask Why doesn't somebody do something? when you should ask "Why don't I do something?” she wondered.

Sylvia Achebet, The Alumni Chairperson said “Am proud to be among these amazing graduates!  We have shared experiences and shared goals. Let's keep supporting each other, sparking ideas, & making our alma mater shine!”
