  • Orlando Pirates vs MC Alger [1-0] – 7pm

The Caf Champions League second leg quarter finals will be on this Tuesday with three fixtures as giants Al Ahly, Sundowns and Pyramids aim to defend their first leg advantage.

First, the defending champions and record winners Al Ahly travel to Mauritania to face Sudan’s Al Hilal Omdurman looking to reach yet another semifinal.

They carry a 1-0 advantage from the first leg and will be wary of the threat posed by Florent Ibenge side who despite playing away from home, they could prove a hard nut to crack.

In Algiers, South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, home to Ugandan legend Denis Onyango face Esperance.

Like Al Ahly, Sundowns won the first leg 1-0 at home and will hope to keep a clean sheet against the Tunisian giants to continue their adventure as they look to win only their CAF Champions League crown since 2016.

In Rabat, hosts FAR Rabat must be at their clinical best to overturn a 4-1 deficit suffered away to Egypt’s Pyramids a week ago.

The visitors can afford to lose but still advance and they hold the biggest advantage of all quarter finalists coming into the second leg.

On Wednesday, 1995 winners Pirates of South Africa will look to use home advantage to down visiting MC Alger who they edged 1-0 away from home.
