Why you shouldn’t get married in your twenties – Mamideb

Reality TV star and entrepreneur Mamideb has advised her followers not to pursue marriage in their twenties, as it never works out.

“If you are in your twenties, do not put yourself under any pressure to get married,” the Kampala Creme star said in her ‘Let’s Talk With Mamideb’ episodes.

Mamideb claims that in their twenties, people are supposed to focus on accomplishing their education, traveling the world, making money, and dating to discover what they want in a partner.

Take your time. Your twenties are for discovering who you are. And when you get into your thirties, that’s when you can focus on settling down.

She backs her point, noting that not many partners who got married in their twenties have managed to stick together and succeed in their marriages.

I don’t know anyone who got married in their twenties, and it’s turned out successfully unless you got married to an angel. You are still discovering who you are in your twenties, and in your thirties, you have made your mistakes, you know who you are, and are ready to commit to a human being.
