Who Is Ivo Official? TikTok Fame and Mental Health Awareness

Popularly known for his exceptional content creation on different social media channels, especially TikTok, Ivo Official has become a household name in the Ugandan entertainment space as a dancer, too.

We talked to him about how he juggles his career, family background, education, and inspirations, among others.

Who is Ivo Official?

Born and raised in Kampala, Ivan Mukiza a.k.a Ivo Official is a Mufumbira from Kisoro District. He is an influencer, professional dancer, climate change activist, and social worker under Talent Walls Management.

A Journalist by profession, Ivo Official graduated from Kampala International University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.

He is the Co-Founder OF BSD Crew, Founder OF Party Parade, and Co-founder of the Tucheze Dance initiative

Music Relations

In his endeavours, Ivo Official has made many friends in the music industry and featured in popular music videos over the years. Some of the include:

He has also and also performed on the big stages, including East Africa’s Got Talent, Coke Studio Africa, HiPipo Awards, among others.

Mental Health Awareness

In an effort to promote mental health awareness among students, Ivo Official recently organized a series of school tours dubbed “Party Parade,” culminating in an energetic main event at the Kati Kati Grounds, Lugogo on the 18th of May 2024.

“The initiative under Talent Walls sought to highlight the importance of mental well-being in the local education system through creativity, connection, and community engagement,” Ivo notes.

The school tours provided a platform for students to express themselves and discuss the often-taboo topic of mental health.

Throughout the weeks leading up to the main event, we visited various schools, offering workshops and interactive sessions designed to engage students in conversations about their mental health experiences.

Through art, music, and storytelling, we encouraged students to share their feelings and challenges, creating an inclusive environment that emphasized empathy and understanding.
