Water, Agriculture, and Education!! Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu Foundation's Holistic Approach to Community Development

The Biara Emmanuel Wepukhulu Foundation has greatly helped the people of Bulambuli through several important projects. One of these is bringing piped water to the residents of Nalondo, making clean water more easily available.

The foundation has also supported more than 150 women’s groups by giving them tomato and onion seeds, spray pumps, and fertilizers. This help is expected to improve food supply and increase the women’s incomes.

To support the youth, the foundation runs a program to identify and develop young soccer talent. This gives young people a chance to improve their skills and possibly build a future in sports.

The foundation also values education. It provides full bursaries to students who perform well in the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), allowing them to attend good schools like Bugisu High School and St. Peters Claver. This motivates other students to aim for high marks.
