Ibrahim Oriti and Karim Ndugwa are set to miss Vipers’ trip to Morocco where Raja Casablanca is lurking in their first ever Caf Champions League group stage match.
The duo is not part of the squad leaving the country on Wednesday morning ahead of the clash on Friday evening.
According to the Venoms website, new signing Ndugwa is cup-tied after featuring for BUL in the early stages of the Caf Confederation Cup.
“New signing Karim Ndugwa is cap-tied having played in the CAF Confederations Cup with BUL FC,” read a revelation on Vipers website.
However, no reason was given for leaving out Ibrahim Oriti who started in the win over Bujumbura in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye (no reason), Marvin Youngman and Najib Iga (injury) are the other players missing out on Bianchi Beto’s squad.
