Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) football club swiftly recovered from the opening day blushes with a slim 1-0 win on the road over Soltilo Bright Stars on match day two of the 2024-2025 Star Time Uganda Premier League.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe was the hero with the all important goal of the evening at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.
Ahimbisibwe beat goalkeeper Were on the stroke of half time for the match winner well defended throughout the game.
This was URA’s first win of the season following their 0-1 loss to KCCA on match day one at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
Elsewhere, match day two on Friday, 20th September 2024 also witnessed Wakiso Giants gallantly win 3-2 away to Maroons in Luzira and Mbarara City shared the spoils with visiting Police at the Kakyeeka stadium.
BUL and KCCA played to a 1-all draw at the Lugazi stadium in Najjembe.
