Uncle Mark alleges SFC and presidential convoy in brother’s torture incident

Comedian and media personality Uncle Mark, real name Mark Agaba, has come forward with allegations against the Special Forces Command (SFC) and the presidential convoy, claiming their actions led to the torture of his brother and the tragic loss of an unborn child.
In a post shared via his X account, Mark recounted the incident involving his brother, who was detained and allegedly brutalised by security forces while trying to reach his pregnant wife in distress.
My letter to @MODVA_UPDF – SFC. A few months ago, as the president’s (@KagutaMuseveni) convoy passed through town, you stopped all vehicles and motorists—standard procedure.
But among the boda men held up that day was my brother. He was rushing home after his pregnant wife called him; she had slipped in the bathroom and needed urgent help.
According to Mark, after his brother parked his motorcycle to comply with security protocols, he attempted to proceed on foot in search of alternative transportation.
However, as he moved near a police post, he was intercepted by SFC officers who allegedly beat him and forced him into a car boot. He was then detained for two days and later returned home with visible injuries, including missing toenails.
Today, he’s slowly recovering. Sadly, we lost the baby. His wife is healing.
